Please pick up your ADN Pin from the bookstore.

Pinning Ceremony Rehearsal - This is MANDATORY

The rehearsal for the pinning ceremony will be Tuesday May 4th at 2:30pm in CEM building Room 201. This will be a short 30 minute meeting. This is mandatory.

Important Announcements and Updates : )

Class pictures and hoodies are in! Pictures are in the Nursing Office - please pick up your free Pinning Ceremony Invitations also from the office. If you ordered a hoodie, please see a class officer, they will retrieve it for you.

Pick up your free cap and gown and 10 free Commencement Invitations from the SC4 Bookstore, if you haven't already. You can also buy a sash/cord there if eligible.

There will be a photographer at the Pinning Ceremony. Order forms will be given out prior to graduation. Two 5x7s will cost $15. Other options will also be available.

Please send any pictures you would like in the Pinning Ceremony Photo Slideshow to nataliebax1@aol.com or put them on a CD and give it to a class officer by Friday April 29th.

We are also incorporating video interviews of students during this Slideshow. We will be asking students questions about their experiences in the nursing program. Interveiws will be done during lunches next week (Monday April 26th, Wednesday April 28th for Traditional students and Thursday April 22nd for Articulation students). Some examples of questions are: Who/What inspired you to become a nurse? What was the most memorable moment you had in the program?, etc.

Phi Theta Kappa Members

If you are a Phi Theta Kappa member and would like to wear the Phi Theta Kappa sash at graduation - please contact Advisor, Angela Heiden at aheiden@sc4.edu

We have not received many class song ballots. Please give your ballot to a Nursing Committee Officer OR place them in the Committee mailbox in the Nursing Office (Vartoush or Trish will direct you to the mailbox) by this Wednesday, March 31. Or email nataliebax1@aol.com with your song choice.

No Clinicals Friday March 5th

This is the last week of clinicals for those who have their Leadership rotation first.

And those who start their Leadership rotation for the second half of the semester: you have your orientation next Thursday March 4th, and you have the next day off from clinicals - however double check with your clinical instructor and/or Mrs. Becker first.

So, everyone should have Friday, March 5th off!!!! : ) Remember this is the day of the Bowling Fundraiser. All Nursing Committee Officers will have tickets available to purchase next week in class. The money we earn from this fundraiser will go towards our Pinning Ceremony.

If you are unable to attend the Bowing Fundraiser, but would still like to help, we are also taking donations. Please see a Nursing Committee Officer to make a donation.

Nursing Pictures - Last Call

If you missed your nursing picture appointment, please call Scott's Studio within the next week to set up an appointment at their studio in Marlette.

Order Your Nursing Pin

Please return your order form and money (cash, check or credit card) to the SC4 Bookstore by Wednesday March 3.

If you choose not to purchase a pin through the Herff Jones company, the bookstores sells a RN pin that is $6.99. Or if you would not like to purchase a pin at all, feel free to bring your own pin with you to the Pinning Ceremony, so you will still be pinned in your Pinning Pictures.

Mentor Thank You Letters

Nursing Bowling Fundraiser - PLEASE RSVP by end of this week

Nursing Pictures

Nursing Pictures are Monday January 25th from 8:30am - 3:00pm. And Thursday January 28th from 11:00am - 12:30pm.

You need to bring your white SC4 polo or turtleneck shirt AND your $15 sitting fee (cash, check, debit/credit card) with you on the day of your appointment.

Apply for Graduation

Today is the last day to apply online for graduation. Go to the SC4 website, then log onto the WAVE. Go to the College Credit Menu, and it is under Academic Planning.

Apply to Graduate in Winter 2010 term.

Nursing Picture Times Have Been Extended!

Due to students having to sign up during class times, we have extended Monday January 25th's photo session to 3:00PM.
If your appointment is during a class that you are unable to leave for your photo appointment, please come afterwards.

Also, we have added another day, Thursday January 28th from 11:00AM - 12:00PM for the Articulation Students. This time can also be used for the Traditional Students who have class Mondays, and are still unable to come between the 8:30AM - 3:00PM timeframe.

Class Pictures will be taken on Monday January 5th from 8:30AM - 1:00PM. The sitting fee costs $15. Please remember to bring your SC4 Nursing Polo or Turtleneck with you. A sign up sheet will be passed around in class to schedule your appointment.


Nursing Bowling Fundraiser
Join us for a night of fun on Friday March 5th at 8:00PM! The fundraiser will be held at Port Huron Lanes - located at 1718 Hancock Street - North of the Blue Water Bridge and behind the Wendy's.
Tickets are $15 for one, or $25 for two - so bring a friend and save some money! A ticket includes 2 games and shoes. Please see a Nursing Committee Officer or email us if you would like to purchase tickets. You must RSVP by Feb 5th!
We are looking for Sponsors. So if you know any local business owners who would like to "sponsor a lane" please let a Nursing Committee Officer know. For $25 we will largely advertise their business on their designated lane.
